We provide equitable access to enrichment opportunities and educational advancement for all students—regardless of race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, or gender identification—so they can access programs during their high school years, build their dreams, continue their chosen course of study, and ultimately achieve success and happiness.
Our Mission
In partnership with the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, The Vanessa Noble Good Purple Rose Fund levels the playing field for underserved students.
Vanessa Noble Good was a dedicated advocate for students in the Upper Dublin community. She served on the Upper Dublin School Board for 12 years and led the Upper Dublin Education Foundation as President, where she discovered her true passion: ensuring every student had equal access to opportunity.
Vanessa believed that no child should be held back from fulfilling their potential or pursuing their dreams because of circumstances beyond their control. Her legacy lives on through this scholarship, supporting students who exemplify her commitment to breaking down barriers and creating pathways to success.

Education
Selection Criteria
Recipients are chosen by faculty based on the following:
- Students who have excelled in their chosen field of study despite difficult circumstances that have limited their access to opportunity
- Students pursuing fields of study outside of a traditional 4-year college degree
- Students who exemplify Vanessa's commitment to breaking down barriers and creating equal access to opportunity
